New Bimini and Clears
Submitted by Jackfrost80 on Wed, 2016-11-30 09:49
It’s time to redo my bimini and clears using the existing frame and I’ve had a range of quotes and hoping for some feedback on the following trimmers who came back with the most competitive quotes once I had to manually figure out the GST on some quotes:
Custom Made Boat Covers in Alexander Heights
JP’s Trim Shop in Malaga (formerly Karratha)
Canning Motor Trimmers
Total Canvas in Bayswater
Also got quotes from Boat Canopies WA and Cushion Covers who I know do great work but they came in a few hundred more than the best quote. Prestige Motor Trimmers also quoted me but must be very busy and don't need the work.

Boat Canopies WA
Cant fault Shane at Boat Canopies WA. He has done a few jobs for me and he is brilliant and the quality is tops.
I did then the best that I knew how. When I knew better, I did better.

He did a great but Pricey job on my boat in Kcity, but I think it sure was the Pilbara Dollar that made it that pricey.

Canning Motor Trimmers
I've had two boats get work done here, new complete storm covers on my old Seafarer, was the most recent - brilliant job and at a very fair price. They're always very busy so may need to wait a couple of weeks to get work done

Cheers guys. Ended up dropping my boat off with Van from Custom Made Boat Covers in Alexander Heights as he had an opening pop up due to another customer stuffing him around. Getting it done with Sunbrella plus and Strataglass.
Stoked to be getting rid of that faded bimini and burnt side clears. Will post up pics when done.
