New etec G2

Had to get a repower for the boat after blowing a cylinder, fuel pump, fuel sender on the Verado due to water in the fuel. Decided to get a new etec G2. First trip out today and was quite impressed with the power compared to what I had. Wasn't much difference in noise level so will be good to see how my fuel consumption goes. Went for a 200HO which should have the boat ticking along pretty quickly.

Great choice I've got the
Great choice I've got the new g2 300 HP and first 2 stroke I've owned. Simply the best engine I've ever had. I've done 75 hours now fuel efficiency is outstanding, power is brutal, no exhaust smell , slightly noisier than my Yamaha 300 at idle but no difference at 3500 rpm. Super happy with it

Interested to know what happened to the verado. Is it a total loss or did you trade it & get something..?
