New forum - Spearfishing West Oz
Hi FW crew,
Just a note that I have setup a new forum section that is called Spearfishing West Oz. (I have also added it to the fishwrecked tips section) I know some of you guys don't like it, but after the forum thread the other day it appears there are a fair few members that are already into the sport and quite a few that are interested. If you have any spearfishing questions, be it free dive or scuba, put them into this new forum so that everyone can see them without having to browse all over the site. I will also be going back through the archives to put some old threads in there for general reading, so if you see some things moving about, its just me changing it up, hope you enjoy. (Also, Thanks to Pilbarabrad for the idea)
Cheers,
Adam

Great idea Brad/Adam
I personally don't have a problem with spear fishing - having free dived when I was young, getting a fish was only part of it. Spending time amongst reefs and exploring grottos was enthralling. LOL - good point Rod and you can select what 'bites'

One trout or bluebone
These days I am extremely selective with my spearfishing, I will only take one blue bone or one coral trout unless I have people coming for a bbq. Most of my enjoyment comes from seeing the thousands of different species of fish and coral. Just magic some days!

Great idea
Haven't done too much myself, but I greatly admire the skill of the good spearos.

Good stuff Adam!
I used to love it when I was younger - wanna get back into now. Just so restricted where you can spear in the perth metro without a boat!

Nice one
There is certianly a growing number of spearos amongst the FW crew. Just another reason to head out and get amongst it and post some happy snaps.

Spearing Pic
Was hoping to post a pic of a red emperor I speared last year off Dampier, to break in this new forum. But to life of me I can't find it, now no one will believe me geez.

Something I gotta work on
Thats something I definately have to try and make easier with the site. Its bloody frustrating trying to load pics into threads.
