Good to see fisheries getting this out there for all to see, so basically a 20 percent daily reduction to toe the line on what the government signed up for to achieve by 2030.
So I used to know the rules now I am completely confused. Seems to be a massive change to what was around before. I see dhues at 1, is this per person or per boat and so does that mean that the bag limit is more in Perth than everywhere else now even though we aren't allowed to fish any more? As we are all assuming massive changes will happen again before next September

This on the recfishwest site
This on the recfishwest site Guy, I take it as bag limit not boat limit.
The new rules will apply outside the West Coast Bioregion.
Key changes include:
A mixed demersal bag limit of four demersal fish per person per day (previously five)
Dhufish reduced to one fish. Coral trout, coronation trout and western blue groper remain at one fish per species.
Pink snapper, red emperor and tuskfish species (including baldchin groper and bluebone) reduced to two per species.
On the South Coast, nannygai remain outside the mixed demersal limit, with a bag limit of four fish per person per day.
The size limit for pink snapper and red emperor will now be 45 cm.
Love the West!
