Nice little session

Managed to sneek down to the local creek at cape preston, to fish off the bank for a couple of hours before work. First cast came up with a jack which got me excited but I tried to hold back that early confidence so I didnt jinx myself. Another few casts and up came a barra of about 450mm, my second ever so I was pretty happy by that stage. Over the next hour and a half I managed about 8/9 jacks, a nice thready about 700 mm, and two more barra roughly 500/550mm, one being on a popper (a first for me). All went back without inury, happy days its going to take me a while to top that morning!

What a way to start the day. You're right, that'll take some beating.
