No spark now

I finally got around to changing my rectifyer on my 1990 90hp v4 Evinrude 2 stroke but now it won't start just cranks over. I checked all 4 spark plugs and it seems I have no spark in any of them. I hope I haven't complicated things now, any thoughts as to new problem cheers
Darryl

power pack
Without seeing the engine its hard to pinpoint, i would say that you are looking at one of these three things. Stator or connections, when you connected your rectifier you would have connected to the yellow wires coming from the stator, i would be looking at this area, also the kill circuit for the power pack could be grounded out which will stop the spark, this is a black wire with a yellow trace, or possibly you could have had a voltage spike which may have blown the stator and or power pack, where are you located?
