Yeah, you should try balloning out from ammo jetty in the cockburn, i have have landed fair few sharks from there.  And now it is starting to get warmer theres heaps of bait fish to use as live, or dead.

Mostly, whalers, black tips, hammer heads and gummy sharks.  They are not huge the biggest one i landed of there was a little bit over 5 foot.  They are fun and at that size they make a nice feed.  We have hooked some that we were only able to be connected to for a short time.  It is fun and landing them from shore is awsome.

Most have been on sundown

Most have been on sundown and at night, have landed 2 during the day.  The ballon is so the wind can take you bait out, and when you want to set or bait to what ever distance of shore you like you can leave it out there.  Usually what ever we cacht, scale mackeral, slimys, bonitio, fillets of fish.
