two rods. One for throwing out lures and then maybe using as a light bait fishing rod when it gets darker.. It will either a 9 foot or 10 foot rod and 200o to 4000 spinning reel. I am hoping to catch tailor, bonito or salmon on the lures and then after dark I will throw out an unweighted mulie looking for tailor, skippy, mulloway etc. If it is a bit breezy or there is a solid current running, I will baitfish with the smallest sinker possible running down to the hooks, which are normally ganged 4/0s.
The lighter set-up is also an option for catching Buff Bream for a bit of fun.
I also take a heavier rod to throw out a large fish bait, ie mullet fillet, a herring or a full squid - using a standard patenoster rig with snelled hooks. I have a Shimano big bait runner long cast I use on that rod. Hope to catch a mulloway or a snapper.
Hope this helps, Colin

All along there
is pretty good - depending on the conditions. I tend to fish up closer to the helicopter pad myself.

Good one Troy
Even if it was the small the Sambo would have been great fun.
