Ocean Reef parking

Hi All, just wanting some advise on whether to purchase an annual parking permit in view of the cray season. Its now $170 or 10 bucks a pop from the machine.
For cray season do you need to buy a $10 ticket each time just to check your pots? Criminal!
I split my launching between Hillarys, O/R and Mindarie, so outside of the morning pot pulls i would be lucky to launch there 8 times a year!
Anyway appreciate your thoughts!

Yeah criminal ideed but what
Yeah criminal ideed but what pisses me off most at Hillarys is that you can only put coins in the machine. The pass is worth it if you launch predominantly from one ramp.
A bloke came up to us and gave us an his day ticket as we pulled up yesterday as my annual pass has expired and I got my brother to go give it to someone else when we retrieved to repeat said kind act. I wonder how quickly the DoT would install machines that take a card if we all started doing this.

Jack,
I can answer that, at East Freo now you have to put your rego into the ticket machine, so its on the ticket.

No chance of that happening
No chance of that happening with the machines at Hillarys. I'd be surprised if they didn't take 1 and 2 cent coins they are that antiquated

Yeah 4 hours I think, good
Yeah 4 hours I think, good for a quick squid bash in the sound.
I learned the hard way there and parked in the normal bays and went fishing off the jetty for a break after the birth of my 3rd and came back to a $50 fine. To top it off I decided to wade around with my brand new 'water resistant' Samsung S5 in my pocket and fried that too. Thankfully I saved all the baby pics from the SD card.

How about city parking
First time in the city since I retired.....only in the car park (Wilsons ) near the law courts for 1 hour 48 minutes for a charge of a ridiculous $24
And yes despite some issues at Woodies we have it great SOR

That's daylight robbery
And they say that Ned Kelly was evil, he was an honest citizen compared to what Wilsons parking get away with.

Mandurah/Rocko...
...Pt Peron and Mary St, always been free. And the machines at Mandurah Ocean Marina have been taken away, so it's free there, now, too! It makes me nervous...waiting for the other shoe to drop...
