I got a 15 2 spd. 30lb Tuff line. two yrs old now. Once a month or so usage. SOmetimes more. sometimes a lot less.
Bought it for missus. Light jigging, and bottom fishing on the reef.
Easier for her when she latches onto a decent red. or Gold spot.
She only goes out when it flat.
No complaints. No Breakages. Works as well as any other reel on boat for that application. Drag. OK.
Only thing I will say. Is that I've bought a couple of Okuma's over the years. To try them.
EVERY one had been bone dry. Not a skerrick of grease in one of them.
Once greased. They worked fine. But. I don't know how long the ungreased ones would go..
That may have been one of their problems. Or. I was just unlucky.
I always pull every new reel down when I first buy it. So I know where I'm at if they ever shit themselves out in boat, or rocks.
But normally stick with my Daiwa's and Accurates. With a few old ABU's, and Everol, thrown in.
