G'day guys
Got back from work the other day and gone to use my Nikon d5000 and the autofocus wont work. I've gone through the destruction book to try to find the answer but to no avail. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem or know of a fix. Heading back to Leinster in the morning and wanted to get some photo's out there. Pain in the arss to send it away but if I have to.....
Cheers Mick

Check your lens
G'day Mick.
Some lenses have a manual/autofocus switch on the lens barrel.
Sounds a bit obvious, but it's the first thing to check.
The next thing to do is try a couple of different lenses so you can work out if it's a lens or camera body issue.

Yeah checked that Cam. And
Yeah checked that Cam. And its both lenses which would point to a body issue. Thought there maybe a simple answer. I have reset everything bac to default via the little reset button but stll no AF.
Cheers Mick

check manual switch for
check manual switch for autofocus on either body or lens,
then go into the menu functions and check you not on manual only function, then check lens is connecting properly, ie no dirty connections.
If you have two lens, try both,
if still not working throw at wall and get a new one...lol
