outboard splash covers advice

I am looking at getting an outboard splash cover for my 60 yammy 4 stroke. Outboard Covers Australia have what i need. I am after a bit of advice firstly are they worthwhile, do they last and has anyone had any fitting or other problems with them?

Same as Herk I have the combination set.

The splash cover is great for flying lead, errant cast lures etc. Fits very snug and hasn't stretched.

It also protects the cowling. I've had mine on for 18 months and the cowling still looks brand new.

Well worth the $$$ IMO.

If you have a yammie

Mon, 2009-06-29 17:08

and want "yamaha" written on it, then you will have to buy it through the y-shop as OCA won't sell them to you - they are the only outboard brand that do it.

I have a yamaha branded OCA that I bought through the y-shop, very good those OCA covers. And if/when I upgrade I'll buy another one no hesitation.

Didn't worry about names on mine, just went with blue to match the canopy.

Pretty quick turn around time from when I ordered it to when they rang me to collect it. Good service.
