Overheating Fixed

Great news, overheating problem with Merc 225 was from a worn impeller and a spart plug missing. Dealer tested thermostat and anything else that could have created the problem and found nothing.

Ran the motor while i was at the dealership and it sounded sweet, smooth.

At least you can be confident that its not going to bother you when you want to crank it up a bit.
Spart plug??--spark plug ?? Would have expected if it was a missing spark plug you would have noticed it missing and running rough at an idle.

Missing spark plug?? There must have been oil all over your engine! Or did you mean not firing all the time?

Funny

Funny alfred, as you say "firing", noticed that the motor was running rough when washed down last saturday, was possible that the plug failed that day, mechanic said that it may not have been possible to pick up the misfire if I was travelling slowly. Got regular service while I was at it.
Question, how often do you get your motors serviced?
