Pacemaker Charger 560 versus Calais
Submitted by bradz on Thu, 2016-02-04 14:56
Hi guys
Just doing some investigative work. The Pacemaker Charger 560 and the Calais (made in Bunbury I believe) use the same moulds from what I can tell. Can anybody shead any light on any differences between the 2?
For example, was one built heavier or better than the other?
Cheers
Brad

Same
Both from the same moulds as far as I know.
The Frenchman, Ron Calais had the moulds first then they were taken over by Peter Blowfield, Ron was a true blue old school boat builder, [even worked for him for a stint till his temper changed that] and Peter had been in the fibreglass industry for a number of years before that so very competent at producing a quality product

Thanks for confirming that. I will now create a new post asking a related question....comparing the Pacemaker 560 to the Swiftcraft Dominator.
