Palm Beach Jetty

hey guys, went down to palm beach jetty today from about 11am till 2pm got a few bites managed to land some whiting and a couple of herring, seen some blokes land a nw blowie. also chucked out a squid jig but didnt manage to get anything, I did have a couple of bites that hit harder than anything I've had from the jetty but spat out the hook before i got it hooked it was a pretty decent pull too, any ideas on what it could have been? anyway thats my first report hope it makes sense been on the beers pretty hard today. No pics sorry cant find me camera.

what size bait where you using?
shonky im not sure why you would call pinkys shitty? your really only stabbing in the dark when guessing what it could of been but maybe a salmon there was a school at point peron yesterday morning!

Theres many many fish that
Theres many many fish that pull hard around that area. Pinkys', bigger nw blowies, small stingrays, big tailor, bonito, mulloway, small sambos, port jacksons, little sharks, big tarwine, etc etc etc

i was using prawns various size some cut up and some smaller whole and squid, didnt really feel like a tailor but ya never know, still spewing i couldn't get it. either way good reason to get out of the house
