PB Soft Plastics Dhuy

A few photos from yesterdays fishing trip off Cape Nat.

Liam with the first dhuy for the day. Caught on a Abu baitcaster.

Liam with another nice dhuy.

My PB dhuy on a plastic. Pulled the scales down to 17kg. Was caught on a McArthy 10 inch.

Teamed up with Harro and crew for the day. This pic is the boys all hooked up.

Was another top day and pretty stoked with the new PB.

Pic doesn't really do it

Sun, 2011-05-29 10:57

Pic doesn't really do it justice. Always a bit reluctant to put sizes of fish up but it was weighed on 2 different sets of scales, one brand new and both had it over 17kg.

That dhu was every bit of 17

Sun, 2011-05-29 11:36

That dhu was every bit of 17 and would accurately be 18 or just under when you pulled it from the drink. My camera skills didn't do it justice mate, took a whole lot of boat in with that pic.

Sun, 2011-05-29 10:40

awesome Brendan, the 17kg fish is a belter on a SP. You racking up the miles these days with the extra jerries?

Been getting our two dhuys

Sun, 2011-05-29 10:52

Been getting our two dhuys pretty easily of late so starting to try a few different things.

One is the deep stuff and the other is jigging for YTK.

Haven't had much luck with either yet but it good to have a new challenge.

There must be some large kingies down here somewhere, there are plenty of small ones.

Put it this way Steve

Sun, 2011-05-29 10:59

if you got seasick in that (knowing you may get sick) you should give up boat fishing

Rare conditions down here, was actually flatter 30nm out that 5nm out. Great stuff.

Sun, 2011-05-29 13:46

Great stuff boys you guys really know how catch the fish you target. Nice photos to top it off. Well done on the PB dhuie to nice fillets all round.

Those conditions look tough mayb you shouldnt be fishing. Good stuff look forward to more pics of later adventures.
