pe 1-3 overhead setup on a budget?

 gday guys

looking at an overhead setup for my next jigging outfit

It will be mainly used on my kayak so I dont want to spend a fortune on sonething I may loose haha
im pretty set on the gomoku rods as they can be had pretty cheap, but can anyone recomend a half decent over head reel for this little outfit?

Budget is probly 250 so it wont hurt so much if it gets dunked haha

cheers guys

Hey mate, Perhaps consider the Daiwa Lexa 300H. Its a large low profile style reel with healthy capacity and pushes out upto 10kg of drag.

They are well under $250 which leaves you some coin to play with good braid.

Just received my Avet SXJ

Just received my Avet SXJ spooled up with PE3..... Looks and feels a sweet little reel for the money.

Rod is next and I am tossing up on the Gomoku or Trevala S.... The outfit won't get a heap of use but I am keen to jig up to around the 150g mark max as we normally fish in around 40m of water

Opinions on the two rods mentioned or other options would be appreciated

Cheers Steve
