Perth Lunch Time Tailor
Submitted by Riles on Fri, 2013-07-05 20:36
I decided to go out for a lunch time beach session this morning and after catching a skippy, small salmon and flathead on plastics I changed lures to a Halco Twistie and managed to get these tailor and released another 4. To top it all off I thought after such a good session I decided to take my missus down there for half an hour on sunset and managed another 3 Tailor before they went off the bite. After a quick change of lures again to a Halco Popper I managed another Tailer and this stonker of a Salmon. All in all, another great day south of the river

Solid effort Riles,
Solid effort Riles, congratulations.
Daz, not many salmon about mate, at least not for us landbased fishos. There's only the occasional small group & I imagine they are on their way back down by now, though things have been weird this year so who knows.

Daiwa Aird Tdt Spin Combo - 6'4", 4-8Kg
Yeh mate it is, I only purchased it a few weeks ago now and spooled it with 12 pound braid. I have used it with baits, poppers, metal slices and plastics and find it casts really well.
