perth metro tailor

after returning from a weeks fishing trip at wagoe, only catching a few cod an a shark, decided to go to a local beach north of perth the day after we returned. catching a few port jaksons, i caught this 86cm 5.1kg tailor already bleed an gutted. was using an old 1-3kg jarvis walker flick rod with 10lb mono. missing 3 eyes. good days!!!!

gees , you were pushing your luck with dodgy gear like that. Well it went your way this time with a monster green back from metro waters. Well done on the capture

I'm assuming looking at your list of rods and reels Rig you would refer to yourself as a "tackle whore"

Agree with Russ, good fish on a rod that sounds like it should have been retired a long time ago!

A catch like that is not "luck"!

People get fish like that through lots of hard work and perseverance, great result! Something very few will ever achieve. Hey, that JW rod wasn't part of that $500 deal on gumtree, was it
