How about a short bio on each shot mate - where they were caught etc?

Nice photos...

...are they all from overseas? The second one from the top appears to be a good 'ol aussie salmon (or NZ kawahai) and that pair of fish looks to be some pinkies.

Boy wouldn't pike like that be something in local waters. Been watching some Pommie fishing shows on Foxtel where they do that sort of fishing and looks like great fun.

Info

Sat, 2009-01-24 17:48

Sorry boys forgot the info to go with them.  Still getting the hang of this.

Fisrt is a cuda from whangamata in NZ was fishing for snapper and bream when the cuda arrived and kept hitting the bats on the way down.

Second is an aussie salmon but caught in NZ off a west coast beach on bait.

Brownie also caught in NZ on a lure in a river near Auckland.

Snapper caught just off Auckland on a small reef in me mates boat, good tucker!

Then I think maybe a frostfish or a hairtail caught whilst fishing for hapuka.

Back to the UK with a lure caught pollack whilst drifting over a wreck and lastly a pike caught from a southern lake on live roach under a bobber float.

Still comong over bones will be there roughly beginning of august..theres a GT out there with my name on it.!

Would have thought, you'd save those for nocturnal fishing adventures Tongue out

(Sorry, couldn't help myself EmbarassedLaughing)

Thanks for the info mate. Great to see species pulled from around the globe!

Only thing I caught in the UK was sticklebacks and newts! Laughing (I was a little tacker).

Fair PointEmbarassed!  Typing is bad, still I can only improve.  Will keep the pics coming in to help with the variety already on the site!  Hopefully I will be able to put my own aussie fish on display soon.

Cheers
