Pink & Glow Dildo's
Managed to find a day off from work & building decks / fences at home to head out with Doaky (it was also a big thanks to him & his Carpentry skills which are as good as his fishing)
Bit of hit & miss this time of year to find the dhu’s holding up which had us concocting a game plan to visit some old ground out wide that should produce. Fished this area about 2 months ago for one dhuie but different story this time around with a fair few tagged & the good un’s spiked & on ice. Just shows how much Dhuies move around down here!
It was plastics over jigs this day & the big dildo’s do the damage (don’t they always!) Scored this one on the pink mamba
I was going well on the scorecard until Seaquest trumped me well & truly with a nice male that went just under a metre & 17kg… muthatrucka! Taken on the glow mamba

For the south west I certainly think that's the case, certain spots hold @ certain times of the year & different structure too (not sure about metro). I know that one fish I tagged turned up a couple of months later & had certainly covered some ground whilst growing a fair bit, Brendan will have the exact details. On a side note that Dhuie was also suffering from barotrauma with protruding gut & bulging eyes yet it obviously went back well
