Plate me up....please!

Any machinists out there that could help out?

I need to attach my dive torch to a flexible arm for my underwater video case.

After a stainless steel plate (about 50mm long) to be machined up which will slide (nice and tight) into the torch slot.

M6 bolt to be flush welded through plate.  Also need a small grub screw.

Sketch;

This orange connector will be bolted to the plate.   The connector then ‘snaps’ into the flexible line.

About 6mm Neil.  Can be up to 10ish, but would need the 45 degree chamfer, then vertical rise - milling machine?

Would bring the torch around - to get it exact.

Don't insult me, I'm the smart one - a Designer.

As you know Mark, work would be done with a grinder, but charged for a mobile milling machine!

Should be down about 9.30 on Friday Neil.  I'm staying in the good books too - taking the missus squiddingSmile.

Looks the goods Neil.  Will the orange bit (diameter 30mm) fit on the left one - grub clash? Will try and get down tomorrow if I can scam a work car.

You'll keep Tim.  Think I've said that a few times to you now too.

Settle down Ryse, I correct the engineers.  I'm just a designer.  Saved a few more lives last week from a bad engineering decision - waiting for that cheque too.

Squid tonight too and no fish to compliment.

We'll have to get out for a fish Mark, while Neil battles the strong winds at Steep(hope not).
