Thinking of heading to Point Peron and fishing the beach just west of the car park to chase some salmon. Any reports if they are being caught down there and anything else being caught

They were getting some salmon there around about Tuesday. Nobody fishing for anything else.

Salmon
Did a full lap around Garden Island on Sunday, only to find them 500m from the Palm Beach boat ramps on the way back in. Was us, three dudes in a tinny and a kid in a kayak getting towed around, was a great little session. I reckon you will find them anywhere along the coast from Point Peron to the grain terminal, just look for the birds before you decide where to launch.
