Hi all just wanted to find out to see if anyone has had a crack at fishing at port beach or around there along the beach and had any luck

its a pretty shallow beach there but I have only had luck with some good size tailor there. Just using bait and the odd ray to stretch your arms.
to fish or not to fish is that even an option?

Yeh not much luck there get the odd tailor on sunset. Got a few nw blowies and rays but thats about it !

how about for smaller stuff such as whitting etc.. or should i be loooking further up the coast like leighton beach?
