Possible sick seal north of burns beach

There's a possible sick seal around 4km north of Burns Beach cafe. It's a small seal laying on its back about 10m from the shore. Who's best to call?

There were reports of a seal (possibly the same one as last year) that regularly frequented that area of the beach a few weeks ago but the media chose not to state the location for fear of people getting too close and disturbing the animal... could be the same one.
Seriously, try fisheries, local vet are two logical people to contact.

Its all good. Wildlife dept are monitoring it. Its resting up apparently.

Yeh ive seen a couple over the years out that way and east of
rotto they just float there and dont dive when you approach them. at first I thought could be sick or injured but they look like they are just sunbaking on the surface. Surprising to see them doing that as they are pretty much a sitting duck for a white pointer attacking from down deep but they dont seem to be too concerned
