Post about Fish

So many posts about the virus thought I would break it up with a fish post. Fished Gamex with some mates. First time never caught a marlin before. Broke heaps of gear. Two rods, outrigger but caught three Marlin and all solid fish in what was pretty quiet conditions. Went 4,4,3

Three different fish pictured

The lit up fish offered a bit of a challenge to identify. Had some very credible skippers calling striped. The brains trust came up with a very lit up black. The second fish broke a rod at the strike, the lower reel seat 8 kg of drag on 24kg (Demon Blood) we had the rods lashed to the boat so was able to retrieve from the deep blue while screaming and tagged the fish with a buttless tussle.

The Third pic fish was the sweetest as it was the first tagged and got the monkey of our back after dropping one the afternoon before.  Long hours trolling, but when one of these beautiful fish grab a lure its a rush that only fishing can give.

Reckon ill be back to have another crack at Big Blue, 3 Fish pictured estimated at 60 to 80 kg after measurements at boatside.
