Preston river?

Hi guys
l just recently found out that the Preston river is just down the road from my house and was just wondering if there were any fish in there such as Carp and Redfin perch or anything else and if there is something in there what would be the best way to catch them.

Just down the road. .. where are you located? Bunbury... Boyanup... Donnybrook. It's quite a decent length river so where you are asking it will have some relevance.

Hey mate, you will get the odd Redfin and small cobbler, plenty of fresh water muscles, very shallow through that area, tiger snakes love it too

There are carp to be caught
There are carp to be caught around Boyanup, it also has plenty of nice Redfin in it especially around Donnybrook area.
