Fish box too small. Deckie has a heck of a time getting it in.

Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.

For the deep drop, get many John?
I am, as I've said, merely competent. But in an age of incompetence, that makes me extraordinary.

Cracker of a fish John. In
Cracker of a fish John. In another post, you said it was quiet up until 10am and then the fish went on the chew. Did you persist on one spot and then the fish started biting or did you move to other spots to find fish that were hungry?

John mate you are killing
John mate you are killing me!
I tried for a session over the weekend. Had snow falling on the drive to the ramp, and spent an entire weekend (8am Saturday until 7pm Sunday) for 1 sea bass. Ok in fairness, mostly due to boat breakdown issues.
Missing the Perth fishing!
Hope the year continues as it started for you
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
