Radio control boats. Not fishing related

How many of you guys own a rc boat and what do you have. Good way to fill in some time now and then. This is the dragon mini cat 820ep twin brushless motors and two 3s lipos.

Good for 40 mph. Have read on forums that with esc, motor and prop upgrades they are getting 66 mph out of this hull. Interested to see what others have. There must be a few out there.

A very long time ago I ran mostly multi boats, 25, 40 90 sized. Racing M course. Had a 30 sized cat, but mutlis were what I likes. No photos, alothough I could scan a few.

80 kicks was about the limit for the 45 hydro foils in my day, running an oval course with sub surface props.

The 90 hydros were something to behold. To many $ for me back then, but fun to watch. Methanol fuel with around 40% volume nitro methane .

Now

Nothing now but when I was back in Adelaide like Glenn we used to run all sizes of multi's on the M course both geared and non geared. Also had hydros and cats. Still have a couple of hulls in the shed.
My favourite boat was a custom one off 90 sized mono hull that could mix it with the multi hulls. Used to run down the straight completely out of the water on the prop at full noise. Was a nutcase unstable thing at those speeds but was so much fun.

Nice toy jighead! The Traxxis brushless models look the goods, still yet to buy one though. Have a couple of Traxxis brushless cars, bloody things fly along!
