Recent wind forecasts

Is it just me or have the recent wind forecasts been very average. Only on the day does it seem to be even close to the prediction. I dunno maybe it's just my fishing frustration picking on the weather forecasters

Sunday was totally out. Should have gone targetting demersals. Instead I went to the river and caught 7 crabs and a million jellyfish in 4 hours.

Summer
is the worst season for this. Always windy as hell and variable every 20ks of coast.
Sat was meant to be the best day 8-12kn down here and was 15-20kn till around 10am when it swung SW which wasnt even forecasted.
Sun was forecasted 15-20 and was 5-10 from 8am till mid arvo.
Then today is meant to be Sly and its Ely.
Summer sucks, bring on autumn.

You should have seen the wind damage in the hills
From the thunderstorm that swept through on Saturday - huge trees felled, massive fence damage - lucky it remained close to the hills and didn't head offshore !

Mate lost 2 sides to his shed, the kids trampoline and a couple of glass pool fence panels out at serpentine sat arvo. Pretty wild cell that went through.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

They seem to be getting
They seem to be getting worse at predicting the wind. !!
With all the technology and dollars spent on equipment ....surely they can at least get the wind strength and direction right !!
It's one of the only jobs you can F*&k up constantly and still keep you position .... I am starting to think they are taking advantage of this fact !!
Around a week ago it was predicted that the wind would be from the SE for most of the day .... right from the get go it was from the NW!!
And after hors of this happening......the SE forecast was still present ....WTF !!
My fishing spots are so secret........... even the fish don't know where they are !!
