Redfin pearch

We;ve  just had a nice feed of redfin from the warren river tasty little buggers i was wondering where the closest spot to perth would be to pick up a couple.

We tried and lost most of our hard lures with limited sucsess.

The softies were ok but the snags got the better of them

The bait we found by far the best was WORMS good old earth worms

Cant wait to go again ( catching earthworms that is)

Harvey Dam is a really good

Harvey Dam is a really good spot for them. Caught some pretty big fish off the timber on big plastics. Waroona isn't bad, but I haven't had the same bags as Harvey.

SP

The Maria 2 inch Yabbie/Marron SP works well on the reddies and they're fairly resilient also. The orange coloured ones are good and so are the el-natural brown or green!

Vertical jigging 3 and 4

Wed, 2008-05-21 20:22

Vertical jigging 3 and 4 inch paddle tail shads works a treat. Reddies are quite happy to eat another redfin so we've been using squidgies in various colours. From the banks that can be a bit hard so we use hb lures or even spinner baits.
