Replacing the Steez

Gents

After snapping an envy black late last year I replaced the tip and turned it into my light inshore weapon for pinkies/salmon/skippy etc. Been heaps of fun and has claimed some really good fish this year. Unfortunately my 8 year old steez is battling to keep up with the punishment so I'm toying with the idea of retiring it and buying a new reel.

Had my heart set on a replacement Steez but the production on them has been binned so I'm looking for ideas on something which is going to stand up to some punishment. Thinking either a fi stella or an exist (steez is a 2500)at this stage - the things which are concerning me is the smaller line capacity of the stella and the flex in the exist.

Surely some people on here will be using some similar setups and without starting a shimano/daiwa debate, which reel is going to hold up better?

Cheers

 got a current model branzino

got a current model branzino in a 3000 size. pretty sure its just the aluminium version of the steez (might be a few minor details) as the steez/exist is zion. my branzino has held up well jigging with plenty of boated sambos and dhus. only problem the 2500 branzino is really low geared. the fi stella is nice but they seem to need running in. they are a really "tight" reel

Steez

There are a few 3000's knocking around but I need a 2500 to match the rod.

Went into compleat yesterday and they recommended something which I also had in mind, a certate. Trouble is I already have 3 of them. (Have to give the guys there credit for guiding me away from 900 dollar reels to recommend something which will fit the part better)

Had a mate with a Branzino which has turned quite clunky and he shy's away from them now. How long have you had yours for cud?

The optimistic plan at the moment is replace my 3000 certate with the available steez and buy the 2500 certate for abuse. Anyone in the market for the latest 3000 certate?

Ive had mine since they were first released. A little over a year i think. Ive had no problem with mine. I dread the magseal servicing but. I bought it over a 4000 fi stella based on price.
