RIP my darling

Hi FW'ers.
Its with a heavy heart that I have to inform my FW friends that my darling husband passed away on the 3.03.14. After a long battle with a swollen spleen and luekemia he passed away peacefully in his sleep. The funeral was beautiful with his daughter giving her Dad a beautiful send off with words that only a daughter/father would understand. Had a brilliant wake down at the CPBA, plenty of booze and food that Bob would have loved to see all his fishing friends and family enjoy with our million dollar view.

As others have mentioned, hearing about your adventures was always a highlight and he felt like a regular on FW.
I've always been greatful for your help and advice...if there is anything you need do let me know - I'm sure many of the members here will feel the same in this regard.

You hit the nail on the head. Bob always gave me the advice, hahahah I had the earphones on while he yelled, screamed swore watching footie his beloved Eagles and South Freo Footie Club as his brother played for them many years ago. Bob also played for Boddington Footie Club before I met him.

Bob (old fart) was the happiest in his boat fishing or giving advice about fishing, or his beloved eco sounder, he could read that like reading a book.
His legacy of fishing is living on in his daughter, she will get his boat, all equipement and the knowledge he past on to her. His daughter loves diving and many a time in the boat she'd be over the side. Now she has 2 girls and one on the way (a boy) she is now teaching her girls what her Dad taught her.
Her speech at the funeral was touching, words that only a daughter could write about her dad.
Thank you all for your beautiful thoughts, words, it means so much to me.
If any of you would like to pop in while up in Leeman PM me and I'll give you my address. The new ramps are coming on, still haven't got any photos but will get some soon.
