Dont really fish the river mate but im sure other members will point you in the right direction. Failing that though google earth can normally help you pin point some fishable spots....

Sorry for the late update but we ended up fishing under the narrows and all in all a really good night.  We didn't catch heaps but we caught a mixed bag of silver bream whiting and flathead all were pretty small except for 2 flat heads of 41cm and 48cm but they were both returned as we didnt really wanna take them as they were quite far between oh  and ovcourse a fair few blowies.  I had a run a mulie which i had out all night and i fought relativly hard for about 30 seconds and then it dropped off but i wasnt upset because my missus and daughter both caught some fish and they both loved it !!!
