rockingham salmon!!!

hi guys, today ni went to dawsville cut trying for salmon but it was so windy, so we started going back home when i thought that i should go and stop at rockingham jetty for a few hours. so when i go there i started bottoming for snapper, oly atch ing heaps of north western blowies so i was just staring at the water when i saw 2 salmon attak baitfish, so i quikly got the lure out. second cast hook a moster, estimated 7kg, but it spat the hook, so about 10 cast later i landed this wopper. 5.5kg and 81cm. i am stoked!!!. caught on a rapala x rap. good fight

I should of taken a photo the other day- on the Jetty there were at least twenty dead northwester's.
They are either in a plague or just more fisherman on the Jetty this year.
My Dad taught me how to Fish-Thanks Dad.(RIP)

Also went to the cut yesterday
There certainly was a few very wet tougher than me fisherman on the southern Mole. It was very windy and waves kept crashing over it.
I think a few salmon was hooked, but not aware of any snaps.
I would have moved too. Good job young man.
