Nice fish, there has been a few caught around metro that have been posted here in the last 12 months.
Including one that came from Geo Bay I'm pretty sure.
What a great find, a Rocko Rankin. Top shelf tucker, well done.
We are a lucky mob. Rankins, Baldies, Dhueys, KG's, Reds, Coral Trout and throw in our shelled mates, Crays, Blueys and Marron - Wow, we must be the culinary envy of the world, all in our backyard.
Stockman your comments remind me off a discussion we had at work down in Mandurah years ago. 2 off us was discussing a weekend plan in January. Should we go fishing for dhu's, dive for crays, pot for crabs, Drag for prawns or go snaring for marron. Fellow mate from the eastern states just about fell of his chair listening to the options at the doorstep. We ended up getting Abalone and Occies at Avalon!!!
