Rod building supplies
Submitted by trailcraft_tony on Fri, 2014-07-11 21:53
Just wondering where people get their rod building supplies from. I have just got my new rod lathe from the US but wanted to find out if there was any places around Perth to buy supplies or whether most people just get them from Motackle, Rodworks or Mudhole and the like. Been about ten years since I last refurbished my last rod and wanted to get back into it again. Have a few rods to repair and want to custom build some of my own

I go with Mudhole but also
I go with Mudhole but also will be looking at Get bit outdoors for alternate stuff. I highly recommend the rod works and Ross has helped me out before when I was in a bind. Excellent customer service.
send me a PM if you like, also worth mentioning Phenix rods now has a presence in Australia and you can get blanks direct.

Have a look here
I've bought from them before. They have some interesting stuff we don't see over here.
