When Nic Nat does Take A Mark, It Is Usually Much More Exciting Than Watching That Tree Trunk Sandilands Stand There And Reach Up Lol.

and the other critical stat is, that despite nic nat's apparent brilliance, freo is still one game clear on top.

Funny how in the age of
Funny how in the age of Supercoach and Dreamteam that stats are the be all and end all for those who don't know much about the game. Stats also don't show how many times his pittbull like attack on the footy results in him gaining the ball in congestion and breaking the lines or freeing up the ball for his team mates to gain possession and clear it. Give me a ruckman that chases, tackles, scrimmages and breaks the lines and give his mids silver service rather than one who sits outside and picks up cheap marks and gets sharked all game any day.
Shuey and Priddis are going to have to wear bibs from now on because they are feasting on the ruckwork of a player who is now only reaching the age where ruckman have historically started to reach their prime.
The Nic Nat haters are getting quieter by the week and soon they’ll all be using sign language…

Only issue as 2 team is the order is reversed.
But also expect us to be 3rd after this stupid rounds of byes.
My own team which I even thought would battle to make the 8 is now pushing for top 4. Lots of challenges ahead though and unlike others on here no Xmas in June for me yet. Eagles only need 3 more wins for me to have bettered my pre-season wish. Even Melbourne and Carlton now has had 3 so Im happy as already. NicNat hitting form, Darling's comeback getting impressive. Just no injury to our backline or we are $&#@ed.
As for top 4 for both WA teams not certain (yet). Eagles are in form, and Freo is not. That sort off change can happen in a flash so could loose the plot altogether.
Believe in" Nothins over until the Fat Lady sings", and well thats months ahead. No GF dreams for either team (Obvious Eagles first) yet at all, but at halfway in the year a very happy supporter off WA Footy.
Im also sure there are a few Eagles or Freo supporters that have the other WA team as their second favourite, I just state it. Also feels better not to Bash the other team each week.

eagles in form and freo isn't???? what do you base that on? freo lose to richmond (no excuses - played poorly), eagles lose to north melbourne kicking with the a gale in the last quarter... freo dominate play against the Suns but kicked poorly. still win. A couple of weeks earlier eagles kicked what 4 goals 17 points against the cats?? freo are a game clear and played one less.
just amazes me sometimes the claims made and why freo supporters seem to cop a bad rap.
