And that contest between Nick Nat and Sandilands was fair and square footy--that big boke has gotten used to backing into packs and using his sheer size to dominate--well, someone just cut him right down to size. No malice there, just fly for the mark. Freo are really gong to struggle for a while, now.

I haven't made any issue with nic nat no stat. Was all fair from what i heard. I have said all week the eagles would win. In fact smash us. A team that thinks it's a serious contender and only being 5 points in front half way through the last quarter against a team whose disposal efficiency is around about 50 % is woeful. In the context of last week's smashing by the reigning premiers, i say again, both wa teams have some work to do.
Fremantle have serious issues. But i reckon Hawthorn won't be the only team you guys struggle to beat this year.

Nicnotacluey had an easy ride after he got rid of Sandilands with that dog act of a knee last night, in fact he went up knee first in every ruck knock looking to hurt or intimidate someone. Got huge padding on that leg to protect himself but none on the other leg. Even lifted the knee up into our young bloke Pearce in one ruck contest and got him in the midriff with it. I'll be looking at a few games today to see if any other rucks lead with the knee. It's a Spineless act if you need to use a knee on the opposing team, this is footy, not gladiators, but hey, what goes around soon comes around.

Check out any ruckman, including your big log, when they jump for the ruck or a mark. They all put their knee up, its called natural momentum. Maybe they should do it by standing in there flat footed & then just jump from there.
But I guess you would come up with some shit cos Nic Nat has the highest verticle jump in the league.
Both teams last night played a shit game, I though it was a fairly even contest because of that.
My thoughts were that the Shockers put it all out there in the first half but couldn't take it to the end.
Hope they can improve for the fans even without Sandi.
Not good to see any player taken to hospital, hope he is ok.
