Well that was very satisfying today. Smashed the cold pies big time after quarter time .
Excellent goal kicking too, especially by JK, who I thought was cooked up until a week or so ago.

Worst
Can honestly say that's the worst I've seen my boys play live, apart from the one Anzac game I flew over to about 6 years ago.

Yes
Good win.
But lets not take to much. Just remeber how poor the Eagles where in their hub.
I think hub life suxs and this season will be very topsy turvy as a result.
What I do believe is that teams that hubbed early would have adjusted a little by now and when they have to go into a second round of hubs it might look different.
Nothing like being in your own bed.
I think with Vics COVID scenario I do feel for the Vic teams, and I do think it will screw them up slowly.
Predict a premiership for a non Vic team for sure.
And a Non MCG GF

Yep they played well
Yep they played well alright, even though the Pies were not at full strength.
I agree with Crasny that it'll probably be a non Vic team and no GF at the G. Althoiugh I think Optus should be a frontrunner I think the Gabba will win out as it gives the AFL an opportunity to showcase the game in a non-Aussie Rules state that is a growth market for the game.

42000 v 60000 That would be a kick in the teeth for WA
I'm aware of the Covid restrictions but it's still a while off and time for Wa to ease restrictions

Just my opinion and
Just my opinion and hopefully I'm wrong. It's more the fact that it's not an AFL state that bothers me. I'd prefer to lose out to Adelaide than Brisbane! Mate in Melbourne says the Gabba is the general rumour over there.

The Vics keep going the way
The Vics keep going the way they are and no football will be played there for a looong time. Probably have all the teams here the way the eastern seaboard is going.

On another note
I see Don Scott has made some allegations about Hawthorn breaching salary caps during the 80s and getting away with it. Should they be stripped of the premierships they won during those years if verified lol?

I'm pretty keen to hear the take on how the best ruckman in living history got touched up by a bloke with no knees and no idea about the game and a 20y old 191cm forward.
