Boat ramp, just saw a divers body being removed from the rescue boat, my heart goes out to family and friends and all those involved..

Damn. We were on the other
Damn. We were on the other side of the point and saw the chopper and heard the sirens after coming up from our first. Looked at SLS WA twitter to check for shark reports.
Assumed that someone had been hurt somehow.

so sad so close to christmas
A 64-year-old man has died while diving at Point Peron, 50 kilometres south of Perth, on Sunday morning.
A WA Police spokeswoman said the man had been part of a crew of four people diving off Point Peron at 9.30am when tragedy struck.
When his three diving companions surfaced, they realised their friend was not with them and discovered him floating unconscious nearby.
A man has died while diving off Point Peron near Rockingham.
The trio pulled the unconscious man into a boat and attempted to revive him before transporting him back to shore to meet St John Ambulance officers, but he died a short time later.
The death is not being treated as suspicious. Police will prepare a report for the State Coroner.
