Salmon beaches

Any beaches that do not need 4WD around Mandurah that I will find salmon at. Will be live baiting mostly but also some lures following the schools up and down the beach (if they're there). It would. Be great if there is a couple of herring around aswell.
Has anybody caught salmon off Peppermint Grove Beach? Might just use some 40-70g twistys off there. I know that this isn't that close to Mandurah but just wanted to know.
As some know, I am new to surf fishing so some good info would be appreciated.

Without a 4WD your best bet
Without a 4WD your best bet is fishing the rocks at the Cut mate.
I have done really well on the beaches between White Hills and Tims Thicket, but obviously this is 4WD.
If you fish the cut, there has been quite a few small schools hanging around. Iv picked up quite a few here also. Generally, they strike close to the rocks. I have been successful live baiting herring and also using a float with a long trace and ganged hooks with mulie. (trace length 1.5m). I have literally just been dropping baits a few metres from the rocks. All the fish I have caught from the cut this year have been done this way. All my ones from the beaches have come on poppers and metal slices. I havent caught any at the cut on lures. Iv fished both south and north sides, fishing directly off the end of the rocks into the ocean.
Good luck!

Was at the cut the other
Was at the cut the other day. Salmon caught 10-15 meters off the end of the rocks. I will try ballooning but also just normal live baiting. Was catching the herring on some just gold 10g twistys.

Yeah drive all the way to the end of the road and there is a big limestone car park. Park up there and walk west through the track in the dunes.
