G'day guys,
How do you guys salt your mullies?
I do mine in layers in a bucket with rock salt. I have a couple of holes in the bucket to drain the liquid away.

Pool salt.
Any salt that's cheap.
I don't salt them too long, normally 4 to 6 hours in the shade is enough for me. Then I re freeze the Mulies with some salt in resealable bags, 10 or so to a bag.
On a trip away overnight, or two, I leave them in smaller salt box once I'm fishing and get two days out of a slab of Mulies (when the fishing a bit slow)
I don't have holes in the boxes, I drain the liquid a few times per day.

What do you salt them for?
What do you salt them for? Do they keep better once salted?
Do you just buy a block of mulies, defrost, salt, repackage?
Cheers
