thought I had heard it all until today , some scum ransacked a house in Carmilo (near armidale), and just to make it worse the scum snapped the rear legs of the 15 year old dog that lived there when the owners found the dog they rushed it to the vet , but unfortunately the dog had to be put down.I just hope if the scum are caught it will be a case of "he fell over sarge" while being arrested

Yeah nice if he's caught and while being loaded into the van trips and smashes his teeth on bumper very hard! Something else to make my blood boil.

Just read the story.
Strange thing to do breaking the back legs. In the country it was not unknown for that to happen when dogs jumped or tried to jump over gates made with arc mesh, is it possible something similar happened here?

Well I have contacted the West Australian and spoke to one journo who is going to put a article together for me and I have offered a $2000 reward that leads to a conviction hopefully one of their mates dobs them in.I dont know the people that own the dog but just want the scum that did it to do some time,probably get sent to Casuarina where they would get a hideing

i heard a saying, many times - a long while ago when I was young (long time ago
) - the law is an ass. I am sick to death of there being a reason for everything - a reason why it is not the persons fault, a reason why you cant blame them, a reason why you cant punish them appropriately and the list goes on. It sickens me that someone can do this, and probably for the most part, get away with it. Corporal punishment has its place and should be attended to IMO.

If they are caught, they will go inside jail for a stretch and you can bet they will get a right flogging and maybe more when they arrive.
Its one thing to steal from someone but to deliberately harm an animal is a big no no amongst crims, they will know who it is and what they look like well before they arrive.
