SD Card for HDS 9

Hi Guys.
Went into JB Hifi to get a SD card for my new HDS9.
I was going to get a 64GB or 128GB.
Salesboy tells me Im wasting my money as many devices cannot acsess the full storage of discs over 32MB.
Anybody know if he is correct???? What size SD card to you guys use in your sounders(lowrance or other brands)????

Do you store sonar readings at all???
I only ask as with this Lowrance you can build up your own 3d mapping thru Insight Genesis.
You stor your sonar readings to the SD to build up your own map from what I understand.

Pretty sure the lowrances
Pretty sure the lowrances can only take up to 16gig off memory ring up chivers and ask them they were going on about it at the lowrance night they had bout 6weeks ago
