I got a 5m glass boat which is plated for 90hp and have a Sukuki DF90 on the back. Very fuel efficient, good holeshot and can get up around 33knots.

 To give you an idea, I purchased a 2008 suzuki DF140 with 500hrs for 7k fitted  with new controls... I found 25" legs to be more common second hand at the time. That was 18 months ago.

 Good quality used outboards are not very common, people tend to run them until they die, you will find reasonably late model ones pop up but in my experience you are better off seeing what's on the market then deciding
