seebreeze wtf?

gidday all was just lookin at seebreeze forecast for the weekend their forecast says 15 to 20 sat but the graph says 0 wtf how can 2 forecasts by the same outfit be so different ?? any ideas

Bit hard to pick
With the cyclone that just came through the N/W its a bit hard to predict .

It is because they do not
It is because they do not say all in the forcast so mainly shows the high e.g 15 to 20 knots but on the graph it can show you all day and at the momment it looks like it drops off about 10.30 starts picking up a bit at 7.30pm.

The reasons for the
The reasons for the difference is that the forcast is issued by the Australian Bureau of Meteorolgy, and encompasses the waters from Yanchep to Mandurah.
But if you look at some of the past graphs of the live wind reading from Ocean Reef, Swanbourne, Garden Island and Mandurah, you will see that there are quiet some differences between the locations.
The graphs are done by seabreeze taking into consideration the differences between the locations, previous weather patterns, previous weather history and the info from their live wind graphs. Whereas the forcast is a general one issued by BOM to cover a vast area.
I find that usually somewhere in between both graphs and forcasts is usually the corect forcasted weather. But not always!
