i would always ask if someone wanted to come out on the tinny w me but it was always a No! i'd just go by myself n have the best pinky sessions in the shallows!

Oh well... Wasn't a wasted day.....

bought some new LED down lights for the boat and installed them!!!

one mounted on each side shining down into the water, so now it will be easier when gaffing fish at night, and 2.... Attract a heap of squid out on my squidding grounds!!!

now....

anyone want to come out for a night fish? .......... BEFORE you get pissed!!!!!!   ;-)

Every time you went north to Carnarvon to your shed you would find it empty.

Thieving barstards everywhere up there.

Dog

Mon, 2013-09-02 08:00

All you need is a good fence to keep the dog in. They don't like climbing over fences where there is a big dog on the other side waiting to bite their arse.

Surprising though, fishing gear is extremely low on their list, its mainly motor bikes, cars and money/ booze in that order.

Glad you finally got her in

Wed, 2013-09-04 17:01

Glad you finally got her in the water David :-)

i think I was averaging around 1.5L per nm... Slightly heavier boat etc...

thats great economy from a black max!!

i finally put a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke on the back of the reefrunner.... Just waiting for a break in the weather that lines up with one of my breaks, and ill be hitting the islands for a good test run!!

Oh.... If I can find someone to come!!!!  ;-)

i owe Tony a trip out out actually and he's back from his PNG trip :-)

hed be craving catching something other than GT's by now!!!

Good

Wed, 2013-09-04 20:54

Glad to hear you finally got the new motor for the Reefrunner. Hope she runs well for you as well as this little girl does for me. I have never had a boat do in excess of 45 knots before so I was pleasantly suprised when the boat went over 50! I hate to say it but she seems quieter than the 150 Johnson I had on the Douglass. Very sweet.
