me and my dad went for a snorkel today down south of cott. no spear guns or anything just a casaul look around.. the water was very murky and it only became alrightish about 50ms out in about 6m of water. while diving i heard heaps of crays and saw a few lil ones and one whopper. i was suprised though because i found about 4 dead crays.. didnt look like they had anything wrong with him but when i went close i saw they were dead. all 4 were in about 30-60ms of eachother. didnt see to many fish but it was a good day out in the water

They were doubtless shed
They were doubtless shed skins from the crayfish. They are all moulting this time of year.

I wonder if it could have
I wonder if it could have been a mishandled undersized cray that was released and didnt make it.
