Solo boating safety.

Well being a bit bored and watching a few you tube videos yesterday happened to check out YBS latest offering. Now talk around town in Exmouth is Brody will be the next poppa george and end up in the drink with his boat sailing off into the sunset and him never to be seen again . I was shocked at what he did. Be safe people take solo boating seriously it is a big lonely ocean out there.

I did say to the mrs that it makes me uncomfortable when he walks around to the bow of the boat when it is putting along with no one at the helm.
Still, it is the closest thing to fishing i am going to be doing for a while and considering we were meant to be up there in a week and a half, it is just jealousy talking.

But YES NOT GOOD, just goes to show how you can get wrapped up in whats going on around you and forget the bigger picture .
It does not take more than a second to make a wrong move and then your in the water and off goes the boat into the distance.
Going by the amount of hrs he has spent on the water would suggest just a simple brain fade.
Not sure if Stryda has his skippers ticket.
Still think the Gov should subsidize the cost of those MOB switches and wrist bands(just my opinion) way too expensive.

I guess for him personally not very risky being pretty agile and better balanced than most. Like a lot of us he would do riskier thing's than that on the ski and dirt bikes all the time.
But yeah not setting a good example definitely.
